I executed a number of foreign and local funded projects. I have expertise in project development such as project methodologies, project costing, project scheduling, proposal writing, contract negotiations, technical report writing and coordination with public and private sector stakeholders for several medium to large scale renewable energy projects in Pakistan and Internationally. As an Energy Auditor, I consolidated and managed resource and energy audits in different industrial sectors. I also designed and developed the SQL template for energy audits with the classification of sectors and their respective possible utilities. I have also conducted several capacity building sessions and delivered keynotes at different forums as a guest speaker. At PITCO, I have had the opportunity to undertake the following projects;
• Textile Supplier Multi-Country Resource Efficiency Assessments – Supporting IFC Partnership Agreements with Global Brands
o Conducted EHS and energy assessment with a detailed report of 15 textile (Denim) units in Pakistan with the focus of energy improvement in utilities (Demand-side energy management, Improvement in the efficiency of Boilers, Gensets, Chillers and Compressors)
• Energy audit and development of an inventory of 16 municipalities in Punjab Province Pakistan (Funded by IFC)
o Managed 4 teams of EHS and energy which conducted energy assessment of more than 250 municipal water supply pump sets within the stipulated time of 04 months. Based on the energy assessment proposed replacement of around 80 pumps and motors and suggested capacitors for power factor improvement. Also developed an inventory of vehicles, buildings, and streetlights with GIS data.
• "Implementation of Resource and Energy Efficiency Technologies in the Sugar Sector of Pakistan” Under SWITCH-Asia Project funded by European Commission (EU)
o Conducting EHS and resource efficiency audits of 55 sugar mills in Pakistan and life cycle assessment of sugar (cradle to gate
• Renewable Energy Resource Mapping of, Nepal & Pakistan (Solar Mapping) (World Bank)
o Installation and maintenance of nine (09) high precision solar measurement stations in Pakistan and 5 in Nepal. The data gathered from the stations will help the Solar GIS® team to update the solar atlas for Nepal under the ESMAP project.
• Assessment for Floating PV Solar Power Plants for dams, reservoirs and water bodies in Pakistan
o Developed a pre-feasibility study of the potential of floating solar plants across Pakistan
• High-pressure Co-generation SWITCH-Asia Project Pakistan (European Commission)
o Developed 10 detailed feasibility studies for conversion from low-pressure co-gen to high-pressure cogeneration technology at sugar sector of Pakistan,
o Developed 10 PDDs for CDM projects,
o Conducted training sessions for the sugar sector in Lahore and Karachi for awareness of Carbon trading and CDM,
o Developed Excel-based calculator for determination of tariff for HP Cogen projects
• Feasibility study for conversion from low pressure to high-pressure cogeneration system for Digri Sugar Mills
• Carbon footprinting of Surf Excel® and Walls Ice Cream Brick Pack packaging for Packages Limited
o Determination of carbon footprint using PAS 2050 protocol with cradle to gate approach of two products
• Baseline Energy Audits of Packages Limited
o Conducted detailed EHS and Energy audit of Pakistan’s largest Packaging Industry.

• Carbon Services is the largest Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) consultancy firm in Pakistan, having the largest portfolio of 12 registered CDM projects in the country (out of 38 projects).
• Since joining CSPL, I have registered two CDM projects & third is underway (Toyota Indus Motors, Karachi & Packages Limited).
• These registered projects accounts for more than 1.5 million tons of CO2/year emissions reductions in Pakistan.

Project Coordinator
I have been involved in:
• Acquiring & studying of RFQs/tender documents & preparation of Bids/Quotations/Offers accordingly.
• Ensuring the Bids/Quotations/Offers are technically correct, including complete Component List, Deviations List, Switchgear Dimensional Details & Graphical Arrangement (GA Drawing) for Switchgear Panels, & checked for discrepancies before submission.
• Selection of Ring Main Units, Transformers, VCBs, Vacuum Contactors, Load Break Switches, Isolators, VFDs, ASDs, Soft Starters, PFIP Capacitors, CTs & PTs according to application & requirement.
• Hand on experience of installing & testing with international brands while assembling the MV & LV Switchgear.
• Bus Bar & Dropper sizing for MV & LV Switchgear.
• HT & LT Cable Sizing & Selection.
• Pre-qualification of products with Clients/Consultants.
• Conducting pre-delivery inspections of MV/LV Switchgear & Transformers.
• Analysis of Provided Specifications, SLDs, Electrical Layouts & Drawings.
• Coordinate with the respective design department & client for the submission & approval of technical documents & or for any technical clarification or any revision in Scope of Work.
• In-house co-ordination from negotiation of order till dispatch (i.e. Proposal Management & Order Execution).

Understanding of different relays used in WAPDA. Orientation with the working of Energy meters, Power/Distribution Transformers, CT, PT and Switch Gears.
